This is Laura Witte's attempt at compiling a list of the inside-jokes from the X-Files. She cannot take credit for recognizing many of them. Although she did manage to notice a some of them while watching the episodes herself, quite a few of them came from the numerous discussions on the alt.tv.x-files newsgroup. Others came from the highly informative books "The Truth Is Out There: The Official Guide to the X-Files" and "Trust No One, The Official Third Season Guide to the X-Files", as well as the X-Files edition of "Cinefantastique" (October 1995). Many more have also been contributed by on-line X-Philes since this list was first published on the newsgroup.
